The Griffins won the first (25-20) and fourth (28-26) sets before securing the 3-2 (25-20, 26-28, 18-25, 28-26, 15-4) league-victory with the runaway conclusion. Junior outside hitter

Henielys Ramos (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) was dynamic in the win with 10 kills, 24 assists, two aces, nine digs, a solo block, and two block assists.
Chestnut Hill College (10-11, 7-6) opened the afternoon with a 9-3 run and paced Caldwell University (8-16, 6-6) to a 25-20 first-set final thanks to some mid-set kills from senior outside hitter
Reily Byxbee (Madison, Conn.) and some finishing blows from Kalala. An extended second set favored the Cougars early and late as the visitors opened up a 10-4 lead before fending off the Griffins in a 28-26 end. Momentum in hand, Caldwell University owned a 16-10 lead midway through the third set and grabbed the advantage with a 25-18 victory. But with Sorgenti Arena on their side, the Griffins made a run late in the fourth set, capturing a 28-26 win with clutch play from Kalala, senior right side

Sophomore setter Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) offered 38 assists to a Caldwell University effort the saw sophomore outside hitter Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) (22 kills) and junior outside hitter Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) (17 kills) combined for 39 of the Cougars' 51 kills. Sophomore libero Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led four Cougars to record double digit digs with 23.
Kalala added two assists and four digs to her 19 points. Ramos hit a team-best .292 (10K-3E-24TA) in her versatile performance and was accompanied on the point by Callahan, who added three kills, an ace, 13 digs, two solo blocks, and four block assists to her 17 assists. Sophomore right side
