Barbara Broville (Toulouse, France) won the top team flight by a narrow 7-6 (5) measure. In singles play, leadoff Clipper wins at number two (7-5, 6-1) and number one (6-3, 6-2) singles put the Griffins in a 3-0 hole. With their backs against the wall, they denied demise for only a short while as Garcia Arguelles' win at number three singles cut the score to 3-1 before Concordia College concluded the match with consecutive wins at number four (6-0, 6-0), number five (6-0, 6-2) and number six (6-1, 6-0) singles.
Chestnut Hill College continues their CACC schedule on Wednesday, October 9, when they visit the University of the Sciences (USciences) for a 6:00 p.m. match.
