The Griffins and Warriors were separated by a single point at halftime, 27-26, but another stale third quarter gave the home team a 56-31 third-quarter edge and an eventual 72-45 victory. Chestnut Hill College (1-5) broke from the first-quarter back-and-forth with a late five points from junior guard
Cassie Sebold (Willow Grove, Pa.) (1:41, 0:59) and a concluding bucket from Miller that gave the Griffins a 15-9 edge over East Stroudsburg University (3-3). The Warriors broke from their haze in the second quarter, but not until freshman guard
Maura Conroy (Philadelphia, Pa.) gave Chestnut Hill College a double digit lead, 20-10, just before the nine-minute mark (9:01). Afterwards, the contest was all Warriors as East Stroudsburg University erased the deficit with 5:35 (22-22) remaining in the first half, established a 10-point (38-28) advantage with 6:52 left in the third quarter, and a 20-point (51-31) lead with five minutes later (1:50). With a 16-14 Warrior fourth quarter, the home team took the contest by an 18-point (72-45) margin.
Senior guard Tiffany Lapotsky (Ashland, Pa.) led three Warriors in double figures with 17 points. She also recorded three rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Senior guard Jordan Hertz (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) helped Lapotsky fuel the East Stroudsburg University offense with two points, nine assists, and a steal.

Lauren Crim (Warrington, Pa.) matched Miller's eight points and added a rebound, two assists, and a steal. Conroy and freshman guard

Chestnut Hill College returns to action on Tuesday, December 3, when they open their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule with a 6:00 p.m. contest at Georgian Court University.
