Sam Barletta (Royersford, Pa.) plated the first of 40 Griffin runs, 1-0. The Scarlet and Gold added seven runs to their lead in the second inning, 8-0, two more in the fourth inning, 10-0, and seven again in the fifth inning to own a 17-0 edge on the Lions. The home team finally broke through in the bottom of the fifth inning with a two-out double, 17-1, but Chestnut Hill College overshadowed the Lions by 5-3 edge over the final two innings, 22-4. Jared Healey (Philadelphia, Pa.) who had a pair of doubles in a 4-for-6 performance with four runs and three runs-batted-in (RBI). Anderosky got the win with three innings of scoreless relief in which he allowed four earned runs on five hits and a walk. Sophomore

The Griffins stayed in the groove during the second game with four runs in the first inning, 4-0, three in the third, 7-0, and two more in the top of the fourth inning, 9-0. The Lions enjoyed a four-run frame in the bottom of the inning, 9-4, but the rally was not enough to detour Chestnut Hill College, who added three runs in the fifth inning, 12-4, and six in the sixth inning for their 18-4 victory. Gilham hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning. He also singled in the first, fourth, and sixth frames to score four times and knock in five runs. Healey and sophomore centerfielder
