Philadelphia, Pa. – (3/26/2019) – Returning to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, Chestnut Hill College hosted Concordia College (NY) for this afternoon's league match. Unfortunately, only junior Erik Jorsal (Mudgeeraba, Australia) and freshman Tom Pitchley (London, England) tasted victory as their 7-5 triumph at number one doubles was not enough to knock the Clippers off course in a 7-0 final.
 
Concordia College (9-3, 4-0) managed to secure the doubles point before Jorsal and Pitchley's win at number one doubles with consecutive victories at number three (6-1) and number two (6-1) doubles. In singles play, the Clippers clinched their win over Chestnut Hill College (10-4, 1-1) with points in the third (6-0, 6-1), fourth (6-2, 6-4), and fifth (6-4, 6-4) flights. Eventually, the visitors swept the round with additional individual wins at number two (6-3, 3-6, 6-0), number six (6-3, 3-6, 6-4), and number one (3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4)) singles.
 
Chestnut Hill College continues their CACC schedule on Monday, April 1, when they visit Jefferson for a 3:00 p.m. match.
