Spencer Fitzgerald (Huntingtown, Md.) eight goals pace Chestnut Hill College to a 18-7 victory over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Post University today at Victory Field #1. After Fitzgerald's third goal (7-3, 15:13) of the opening half, Chestnut Hill College had already made their move to separate themselves from Post University (1-7, 0-2 CACC), 7-3. Pearson netted two more goals (8-3, 10:46; 9-4, 2:55) that was topped with yet another Fitzgerald tally (10-4, 1:41) to end the first half 10-4. The second half mirrored the first, and the Griffins held a comfortable lead logging eight more goals, resulting in the 18-7 win.
Senior attack Lauren Chambers (Lebanon, Pa.) (1AST) and junior midfielder Jaylene Souto (Middletown, R.I.) both recorded two goals each for Post University, while three other Eagles players added one each.
Fitzgerald topped her career-high in goals in a game (5; Catawba, March 07, 2018) with her eight goals that paced Chestnut Hill College to victory. She also added one groundball, three caused turnovers, and six draw controls. Malampy's four goals were accompanied by three groundballs, five caused turnovers, and one draw control. Pearson posted two assists to her three goals, Reinert paired two assists and seven draw controls with her two goals, and lastly, added two draw controls to her single goal. Senior goalkeeper
