Chestnut Hill College (1-3) scored in each of their first two at-bats, getting a first-inning run on an error by the Stonehill College centerfielder and a second-inning run on an Uzzell run-scoring single to left field, 2-0. The Skyhawks got a run back in the bottom of the second inning, 2-1, but the Griffins erased in the sixth inning thanks to a leadoff double to left field from senior first baseman
Eric Gilham (Deptford, N.J.), a sacrifice bunt from sophomore centerfielder
John Contoudis (Jenkintown, Pa.), and a Healey sacrifice fly, 3-1. The Scarlet and Gold added a ninth-inning run for good measure, using a leadoff single from Healey, a sacrifice bunt from freshman second baseman

Uzzell led off the game with a single to short, knocked in Healey in the second with a single to centerfield, and singled back to the mound in the seventh. Healey's earned his three hits with a leadoff singles in the second inning, fourth, and ninth innings. Gilham was 2-for-4 while sophomore right fielder
Sam Barletta (Royersford, Pa.) recorded the other Chestnut Hill College it. Dietz (1-0) walked four and struck out five in a strong debut.
Chestnut Hill College continues their spring trip competition
