Nyack, N.Y. - (4/13/2019) – Chestnut Hill College came back from an early 4-1 deficit to claim a 16-8 victory in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest at Nyack College. Senior midfielder

Spencer Fitzgerald (Huntingtown, Md.) both reached career milestones, respectively reaching the 150 and 100-career goals plateaus with their tallies at 22:26 (9-6) and 3:49 (15-7). Fitzgerald was the Griffins' top scorer in the affair, recording six goals in addition to her two draws.
Fitzgerald scored the first goal of the contest just 36 seconds after the opening draw, 1-0 (24:24). However, Nyack College (5-10, 3-3) answered the tally with four straight scores that earned them a 4-1 advantage with 13:43 remaining in the first half. Chestnut Hill College (4-6, 2-2) turned the tide soon after, offering a three-goal run of their own the tied the contest at 4-4 (11:20) just over two minutes later. The Warriors briefly grabbed a 5-4 (4:30) edge late in the opening frame, however it was short-lived as tallies from senior midfielder
Kaley Malampy (Ridley Park, Pa.) (5-5, 2:31) and Fitzgerald gave the Griffins a 6-5 heading to halftime.
After intermission, Chestnut Hill College gave Nyack College little hope of recovery as they outscored the home team 10-3 in the closing frame. Junior
Dai Pearson (Pottstown, Pa.) scored the Griffins' first two goals (26:28, 23:10), which were later accompanied by three goals apiece from Reinert (22:26, 7:55, 1:19) and Fitzgerald (20:11, 5:37, 3:49), as well as an additional Malampy tally (11-6, 18:51) and the first collegiate goal of sophomore midfielder
Angela Faraglia (Clifton Heights, Pa.) (13-7, 7:12).
Junior midfielder Jocelin Wright (Ithaca, N.Y.) was the top performer for Nyack College with four goals, two ground balls and two draws. She was compliment by sophomore midfielder Melissa Clapsaddle (York, Pa.), who totaled two goals, an assist, two ground balls, and two draws.
Fitzgerald's six-goal game was her third performance of five goals or more this season. Reinert added seven ground balls, seven draws, and a caused turnover to her four tallies, while Malampy finished the affair with two goals, three assists, five ground balls, four draws, the two caused turnovers. Pearson matched her career-high for points in a single game with three goals and two assists (5 points). She also recorded a draw. Senior
Valeria Amaya (Oakland, Calif.) (4-6) earned the win with 15 saves and a ground ball.
