Carson Rees's (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia) five goals paced Chestnut Hill College in tonight's 14-5 victory over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Wilmington University at Lafayette Hill. The Scarlet and Gold out shot the Wildcats, 50-29, which allowed the home team to dominate the first half (6-1) and second half (14-5) with ease. Sophomore attack

Chestnut Hill College (8-4, 3-0 CACC) made an early statement in the first quarter, where Rees (1-0, 11:25), Brown (2-0, 3:16), Wilden's (3-0, 1:14) goals startled Wilmington University (6-6, 1-2 CACC) into a rough 3-0 start. The trend continued as the Griffins added on two more goals before the Wildcats finally netted one tally at 1:12 of the second quarter, 5-1. Wanting to leave the field on a high note, Howell (:25, 2
nd QRT) logged the Scarlet and Gold's last goal right before the break, resulting in the 6-1 half. Not satisfied with their five point lead, the Griffins upped their intensity and scored four goals in each half to finalize the 14-5 win.
Senior attack Dylan McCleaft (Media, Pa.) led Wilmington University with three goals, one ground ball, and two caused turnovers. Sophomore Austin Wood (Middletown, Del.) and Sean Sheehan (Rehoboth, Del.) scored one goal each.
Along with Rees' five goals he also logged one assist, two ground balls, and one caused turnover, while Brown made four assists and four ground balls along with his one goal. Sophomore midfielder

Austin Jones (Courtice, Ontario, Canada) left the field with 12 saves.
