Bronxville, N.Y. – (4/17/2019) – It was a battle of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) heavy weights at the Meyers Tennis Center as #50 Chestnut Hill College visited #28 Concordia College (NY) for this afternoon's league match. There, the Clippers emerged victorious in each match to defeat the Griffins by a 7-0 final.
 
Concordia College (15-3, 8-0) first swept the doubles round in order with successive wins in the first (6-2), second (7-6 (8-6)), and third (7-5) flights; 1-0. In singles, the Clippers scored their match-winners versus Chestnut Hill College (16-5, 6-2) in the third (7-5, 1-0, retired), second (6-3, 6-3), and first (6-3, 6-2) individual flights; 4-0. Additional Concordia College victories followed at number four (6-2, 6-1), number five (9-7), and number six (9-7) singles; 7-0.
 
As the #2 seed in the upcoming CACC Championship Tournament, Chestnut Hill College will host #3 Post University in a semifinal match on Tuesday, April 23.
