Philadelphia, Pa. – (4/23/2019) – #2 Chestnut Hill College hosted #3 Post University in this afternoon's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Semifinal. The Griffins only needed to finish the minimum number of matches to defeat the Eagles 4-0 as victories at number one doubles (6-4), number three doubles (6-4), number five singles (6-1, 6-1), number three singles (6-1, 6-2), and number four singles (6-1, 6-4); junior captain
Antoine Gautier (Bordeaux, France) delivered the match-winner in the fourth individual flight.

Chestnut Hill College (17-5) took their first step toward the CACC Championship with a 6-4 number one doubles win from freshman
Tom Pitchley (London, England) and junior
Erik Jorsal (Mudgeeraba, Australia). A matching 6-4 number three doubles victory from freshmen
Thibault Gasser (Anglet, France) and
Kai Adler (Leer, Germany) followed and secured the Griffins the team point, 1-0. Afterwards, Adler's 6-1, 6-1, number five singles win gave Chestnut Hill College a valuable 2-0 advantage. The spread soon increased to 3-0 and quickly, 4-0 with respective, back-to-back wins at number three and number four singles wins from Jorsal and Gautier.
With the win, the Scarlet and Gold advances to the CACC Men's Tennis Championship, where they will face #1 Concordia College (NY) for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The Clippers will host the conference title match, which is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.
