Philadelphia, Pa. – (4/3/2019) – Chestnut Hill College scored their third Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory of the season with today's 7-0 triumph over the University of the Sciences (USciences). The Devils' only win came at number two doubles (6-4) as the Griffins bookended the visitor's victory with wins at number one (6-3) and number three (7-6, (7-2) doubles, 1-0, before completing the shutout with six straight singles wins.

Erik Jorsal (Mudgeeraba, Australia) and freshman
Tom Pitchley (London, England) earned the first Chestnut Hill College (11-4, 2-1) win of the afternoon with their 6-3 victory at number one doubles. After the 6-4 USciences win at number two doubles, freshmen
Kai Adler (Leer, Germany) and
Thibault Gasser (Anglet, France) secured the team point with their 7-6, (7-2) win at number two doubles, 1-0. Afterwards, the Griffins' match-winners came at number three (6-1, 6-4), number two (6-2, 6-3), and number one (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) singles, thanks to respective individual wins from Jorsal, junior
Antoine Gautier (Bordeaux, France), and Pitchley. The shutout was completed with the succeeding singles wins from Adler (@ #4; 4-6, 6-1, 10-4), junior
Adam Gavin (Gothenburg, Sweden) (@ #5; 3-6, 6-1, 6-2), and Gasser (@ #6; 7-5, 6-4).
