In singles play, the Blue Hens' clinching victories chronologically came in the second (6-1, 6-2), first (6-3, 6-1), and third (6-3, 6-3) flights; 4-0. Pitchley provided the Chestnut Hill College's (2-1) best defense with his effort at number one singles. Adler was leading by a 6-3 margin when he was awarded the fifth flight, which also ruined the University of Delaware shutout; 4-1. Afterwards, the Blue Hens added to their margin of victory with their wins at number six (6-1, 6-1) and number four (6-3, 2-6, 10-7) singles.
Chestnut Hill College resumes their spring schedule on Thursday, March 5, when they visit St. Thomas Aquinas College for a 12:00 p.m. match.
