CACC Players of the Week Revisited Series. A week ago, on Tuesday, November 17, the

CACC revisited the
September-21, 2015, CACC Women's Cross Country Runner and Rookie of the Week performance from then-freshman
Raquel Lopez '19.
At the 2015 Rowan University's Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational, Lopez shined in just her second collegiate competition as she finished in ninth (24:19.74) - besting the Scarlet and Gold's all-time six-kilometer (6K) mark by 38 seconds (
Miranda Ward '09 - 24:57.00, 59
th, NCAA Regional, 11/21/10) while leading the Chestnut Hill College women's cross country team to a fifth-place finish (5
th of 10, 111 points). Lopez's achievement was rewarded with the CACC Women's Cross Country Runner and Rookie of the Week awards; her record-setting pace was supported by a Top-20 finish from then-junior,
Paige Antall '16 (16
th, 25:04.24).
Over the course of the next four months the league will feature past performances of eight Chestnut Hill College student-athletes who competed and won CACC Player of the Week awards in a fall sport (golf, women's tennis, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer and women's volleyball).
