The Chestnut Hill College women's tennis dropped a non-conference regional match Tuesday afternoon to West Chester University, falling 6-1 to the Golden Rams.

The Griffins fall to 2-3 with the loss.

West Chester took the first point of the match by winning two of the three doubles contests.  The Griffins lone doubles win came at #2 doubles as Nele Haag and Annika Wise defeated Elena Lee/Gabriella Lerario, 6-1.

In the singles matches, West Chester recorded wins at #3 and #6 singles before the Griffins got on the board with a win by Romi Meirovich at #4 singles.  Meirovich defeated Amber Nguyen 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6).

The Golden Rams won the final three contests, securing wins at #1, #2 and #5 singles.

The Chestnut Hill college women's Tennis team returns to action on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 when they travel to face University of the Sciences.  The match is schedule to start at 6 p.m.
