The Chestnut Hill College Women's Bowling team picked up a pair of wins on Day two of the Mount Shootout hosted by Mount St. Mary's University at Terrace Lanes in Frederick, Maryland
The Griffins opened Sunday's Baker format competition with an 848-823 win over Felician University.
Maddie Gannon led the way filling 9/10 frames and striking on 11/17 opportunities.

Hope Widmer filled 8/10 frames in the win
Chestnut Hill had two tough losses in the second and third matches of the day, falling to Howard 773-767 and then to Kutztown 792-763. Gannon filled 9/10 frames against both teams while
Eryn Moore filled 8/10 frames against both teams. Hollabaugh filled 8/10 against Howard.
Host Mount St Mary's defeated the Griffins 832-787 in the fourth match of the day. Gannon and Hollabaugh filled 9/10 frames and Moore filled 8/10 in the loss
Chestnut Hill grabbed their second win of the day versus Howard 814-800 in the final match of the day. Moore and Hollabaugh filled 9/10 frames and Gannon closed on 8/10 frames filled.
Overall, the Griffins finished 6th at the event out of 8 while going 3-7 (4-16 on year) on the weekend. Their Baker total for the day was the fourth highest of the eight teams scoring 220 pins higher than they did on day one.
The Chestnut Hill Women's Bowling team will be back in action on Saturday, November 20-21, 2021 when they compete at the Coppin State University Invitational in Baltimore, Maryland.
