Three Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball players recorded double-doubles but the Griffins offense sputtered in the final two sets as University of the Sciences rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat the Griffins 3-2 (25-18, 22-15, 25-20, 23-25, 6-15) at the Bobby Morgan Arena in West Philadelphia Wednesday night.

The loss drops the Griffins record to 7-16 overall and 4-12 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference games.  USciences improves to 8-12 overall and 8-9 in league play.

Henielys Ramos led the Griffins with 17 kills and added ten digs for her ninth double-double of the season.  Erika Dubosky recorded her 10^th double-double with tens. kills and a team-high 15 digs and Mia Caporellie notched her team leading 13^th double-double with 36 assists and ten digs. 

Lauren Lipinski also had 11 kills on the night and moved into 11^th place on the Griffins all-time list with 470 for her career.  Mikayla Grimes had three service aces while Dubosky and Kerri Sullivan had two apiece.  Angela April led the Griffins with three blocks.

Chestnut Hill committed just nine attack errors over the first three sets while recording 35 kills for an attack percentage of .302.  The final two sets, won by the Devils however was quite different as the Griffins had 11 attack errors and just 14 kills, recording an attack percentage of .047 over the final two sets.

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball team is back in action on the road with a match against Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  Tipoff is at 2:00 p.m.
