Lafayette Hill, Pa. - (3/30/2021) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) season began today for both Chestnut Hill College and Thomas Jefferson University as the cross-city rivals met at Victory Field #1 this afternoon. The Rams owned a 30-1 shot advantage and a 14-0 lead at halftime. The Griffins opened the second half scoring as senior midfielder Gab Fanfarillo (Glassboro, N.J.) found sophomore midfielder Frances Vassallo (Hicksville, N.Y.) for her first collegiate goal at 21:04, 14-1. But Jefferson controlled the clock the rest of the way in a 17-3 final.

Freshman midfielder Erin Avanzato (Lake Grove, N.Y.) fronted a strong Jefferson (3-0, 1-0) offense with four first-half goals.
