Wilmington University (3-3, 3-0) scored steadily in the first half, holding a 4-0 (21:38) lead after the opening 10 minutes, a 9-0 (10:15) after the second 10 minutes, and 13-0 at halftime. Chestnut Hill College (0-5, 0-3) took four shots in the frame and only the first from the former Vassallo (26:03) and the second from freshman midfielder

Madyson Schwartz (Philadelphia, Pa.) deposited an unassisted score with 13 minutes remaining in the contest, 18-2 (13:01). She also recorded the last Scarlet and Gold score with a free position goal at 8:25, 20-3. The Wildcats added the final tally with 18 second to play (21-3, 0:18).
Sophomore attack Maddie Day (New Park, Pa.) led all players with five goals, but the Wildcats were led by the play of junior attack Taylor Lambeth (Townsend, Del.) and junior midfielder Brooke Siebert (Felton, Pa.). Lambeth offered eight points (2 goals, 6 assists), two ground balls, and two caused turnovers. Siebert provided five points (3 goals, 2 assists), four ground balls, five draws, and two caused turnovers. In goal, sophomore Tori Grubowski (Bel Air, Md.) and freshman Katie Vindigni (Montvale, N.J.) split the 60 minutes; the former earned the win (2-3) with two of the Wildcats' five saves.
Schwartz scored her two goals on a team-high four shots. She also corralled a draw for Chestnut Hill College.
