Kutztown, Pa. - (9/13/2021) - Chestnut Hill College and host, Kutztown University split the first four sets of this evening's match as the Scarlet and Gold scored wins in the second (25-19) and fourth (25-20) sets. Unfortunately, the Golden Bears carried a slight fifth-set edge before scoring four of the last six points in a 15-12 deciding frame; 3-2 (25-18, 19-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-12).

Mikayla Grimes (Reno, Nev.) led all players with 14 kills, while also contributing an ace, three digs, and a pair of block assists. Freshman
Erika Dubosky (Summit Hill, Pa.) offered a dozen (12) kills, an assist, a block assist, and a team-high 20 digs, while sophomore setter
Mia Caporellie (Downingtown, Pa.) supplied two kills, 31 assists, a block assist, and 13 digs. Chestnut Hill College totaled nine aces and seven blocks as a team.
Chestnut Hill College opens their home and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedules on Wednesday, September 15, when they host Georgian Court University in a 7:00 p.m. match.
