Annapolis, Md. - (9/25/2021) - Chestnut Hill College traveled to South Division rival, the United States Naval Academy for Week 2 of the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) season. The Midshipmen impressed with a 52-0 win, limiting the Griffins to 129 yards of total offense.

Freshman running back Deon Rush (Greenbelt, Md.) led the Scarlet and Gold ground game with 21 yards on two carries. Three Griffins took turns behind center; freshman quarterback Connor Rohrbach (Barto, Pa.) had the best numbers against Navy's defense, connecting on nine of 15 pass attempts for 59 yards. Junior tight end Schneider Juste (Manahawkin, N.J.) was the favorite target regardless of the playcaller as he hauled in five receptions for 37 yards.

On defense, brothers; junior defensive back Colby Goldsmith (Phoenixville, Pa.) and freshman linebacker Cam Goldsmith (Royersford, Pa.) headlined the Chestnut Hill College defense. The elder recorded a team-high 11 tackles (5 solo, 6 assisted), while the younger got in on eight tackles (8 assisted). Freshman defensive end Larry Fonville III (Bethesda, Md.) helped up front with another eight tackles (3 solo, 5 assisted).

Chestnut Hill College returns to A.A. Garthwaite Stadium on Friday, October 1, to host Mansfield University for a 7:00 p.m. CSFL kickoff.
