The Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball team dropped their second consecutive conference match against a division leader Saturday afternoon falling to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division leader Bloomfield college 3-0 at the Bloomfield college Gym in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
The Griffins fall to 10-12 overall and 6-4 in CACC games. Bloomfield improves to 11-5 overall and 9-1 in league play.
The Bears won the match via scores of 25-18, 29-27 and 26-24.
Henielys Ramos led the Griffins with a match-high 12 kills while
Mikayla Grimes added nine
. Mia Caporellie and
Angela April had three service aces apiece. Caporellie led the team with 32 assists.
Ramos remains the CACC leader in kills on the season with a career-high 315 while Caporellie continues to lead the league in assists per set at 9.93 with a career-high 804 assists. She is also just the fourth player in program history to record 800 or more assists in a season.
On the defensive end,
Torrin Kelley and Caporellie had eight digs apiece while
Erika Dubosky added seven.
The Chestnut Hill College Women's volleyball Team returns to action on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 when they host Wilmington University at Sorgenti Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
