The Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball team had their four-game winning streak snapped Wednesday night as they lost to first place holy Family University 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 21-25, 10-25) at the Campus Center in northeast Philadelphia.
The Griffins fall to 9-10 overall and 5-3 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference games. The tigers improve to 9-9 overall and 7-0 in league play.
Henielys Ramos led all players with 16 kills while
Mikayla Grimes added 12 kills and three service aces.Â
Mia Caporellie recorded 33 assists setting the Griffins offense and added three service aces and nine digs.
On defense,
Torrin Kelley led all players with 16 digs while
Erika Dubosky added ten.Â
Angela April had four blocks to pace the Griffins.
The Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 when they host Georgian Court University in a CACC contest at Sorgenti Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:00 pm.
