Three members of the Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team have been named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office on Wednesday.
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.
Earning CACC all-Academic Team honors for the second time is junior midfielder/defender
Adam Manfaa. Junior defender
Evan Walters and sophomore defender
Conor Seeley join Manfaa on the all-Academic team as first-time honorees.
Manfaa was named a 2021-22 D2 Athletic Director's Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award winner. He is three-time member of the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll and has earned Dean's List honors twice. He is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Society and is a manager for the institution's Beat Lab. Manfaa is a Law and Legal Studies major.
Walters is a 2022 inductee into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student athlete honor society and was also named a 2021-22 D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner. He was recently named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the first step towards a possible selection as an Academic All-America honoree. Walters also earned CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll accolades in the fall of 2021. Walters is a Business Administration and Management major.
Seeley, like Walters, was also recently named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. He also was named to the CHC Athletic Academic  Honor Roll in the fall of 2021. Seeley has not declared a major
Since joining the CACC for the 2007-08 season, 27 Griffin men's soccer players have been named to the CACC Men's Soccer Academic Honor Rolls a total of 44 times. Manfaa is one of just 11 players and the first since 2019 to be recognized multiple times by the conference.
