The Series
Saturday's game will be the 17
th meeting between Bloomfield College and Chestnut Hill. The Bears have won all 16 previous meetings including three CACC playoff games at Bloomfield's gym. The Griffins are 0-6 against the Bears at Sorgenti Arena.
Conference Action
Chestnut Hill improved to 8-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) games with Wednesday's win over Goldey-Beacom College. The Griffins remain in second place in the CACC South Division, 1½ games behind division leader Jefferson and 1½ games ahead of third place Goldey-Beacom. Bloomfield is 5-5 in conference games and sits in fifth place in the CACC North division ½ game behind third place Felician university.

Amir Warrick is the third Griffin scoring in double figures, averaging 12.4 points per game while shooting 46.0% from the field. Warrick is third on the team, averaging 5.6 rebounds/game and ranks third on the team with 31 assists and second on the team with 21 steals and 11 blocks.Â
James Rider IV rounds out the quartet of double figure scorers, averaging 10.0 points per game following his career high 31 points vs. Goldey-Beacom. He leads the CACC in three-point field goal%, shooting 49.2% from three-point range (32-65). He has made 20 of 22 free throws for a 90.9% average.

Conor Regan added 20 as the Chestnut Hill College Men's Basketball team came away with a convincing 90-71 win over host Goldey-Beacom College Wednesday night at the Joseph West Jones Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Griffins improve to 11-8 overall and 8-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games. The Lightning fall to 10-9 overall and 6-4 in league play. The win also solidifies the Griffins second place position within the CACC south division.Chestnut Hill's 90 points are a season-high.
Rider connected on 10 of 12 shots from the field including 6-8 from three point range en route to his 31-point effort. Regan was 8-for-10 from the field (3-5 3fg) to produce his 20 points. Â
MJ Iraldi scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double.Â
Amir Warrick rounded out the double figure scorers with 13 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Â
Noah Charles led the team with eight points.
Warrick Named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll and adds PSCBA Honor
Chestnut Hill College Men's Basketball playerÂ
Amir Warrick has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly honor Roll for his performance in the Griffins two games last week.
This week's honor marks the third time Warrick has been recognized by the conference, having been name to the weekly honor roll on December 20, 2021 and November 28, 2021. In addition Warrick was named to the Philadelphia Small College Basketball Association Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season.
Warrick reached double figures in scoring in both games last week as the Griffins went 1-1 for the week. Opening the week against Holy Family, he scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds while also recording four steals and two assists as Chestnut Hill defeated the Tigers 63-59. Against Wilmington on Sunday, Warrick led the Griffins with 21 points (8-15 FG) and again grabbed nine rebound. He also had a steal and an assist.
For the week, Warrick averaged 18 points, nine rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.  He shot 48% from the field (12-25) and 85.7% (6-7) from the free throw line.

NEW HAVEN, CONNÂ -Â The men's basketball team traveled to New Haven Wednesday evening and suffered an 81-79 overtime loss to Southern Connecticut State University. The Bears final non-conference test of the season dropped them to 7-13 overall while the Owls improved 5-11 overall.

Bloomfield's offense was fueled by the tandem ofÂ
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) andÂ
Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) who each recorded a double-double. Morris netted a team-high 14 points to go along with 10 boards for his first double-double of the year while Fulgencio registered 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and collected 10 rebounds.Â
Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) also chipped in 13 points off the bench as the Bears squandered a 10-point lead (67-57) with 7:10 remaining in the 2
nd half.
