The women's volleyball team has won three of their last four matches and improves to 2-1 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference play and 4-8 overall.  Post falls to 3-8 overall and 1-2 in league play.

The Griffins took the first two sets via scores of 25-22 and 25-20 but needed a few extra points before winning the third and final set 28-26.

Ramos notched 17 kills in the three-set victory, with a single attack error coming in the third and final set to finish with a .471 attack percentage.  The senior right-side hitter also added two aces, eight digs and a block.

Angela April and Erika Dubosky added seven kills apiece while Mikayla Grimes chipped in six.  Mia Caporellie averaged 10+ assists per set for the second consecutive match, recording 34 on the night.  Dubosky and Torrin Kelley had three aces apiece.

On the defensive side, Kelley led all players with 15 digs while Ramos and Dubosky had eight apiece. April had three blocks on the night.

The Griffins jumped out to a 14-9 lead in the opening set before the Eagles soared back with a 8-2 run to take a 17-16 lead. A kill from Dubosky tied the score and Kelley followed with two aces to put the Griffins back in control 19-17.  Post again rallied to take a 22-21 lead before The Griffins scored the final four points, two off acres from Ramos and a third from a Caporellie kill to win 25-21.

The second set was also a back-and-forth battle with the Eagles with six ties and two lead changes before the Griffins forged ahead 21-18 following a kill from Kathryn Hanley.  Post cut the lead to one before Dubosky took care of the final four points with a kill and two service aces with an Eagle attack error sandwiched in between as the Griffins took a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-20 win.

Post jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the third set before the Griffins battled back to tie the game at 5-5. Eight more ties and three lead changes before three straight kills gave the Griffins a 21-18 lead and were later serving for match point before Post rallied with three straight points to tie the match at 24-24. Both teams exchanged points until a kill from Ramos put the Griffins ahead 27-26.  April then successfully blocked the final Post attack to secure the win 28-26 and the match 3-0.
