The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team celebrated senior day on Sunday as the athletic department honored the programs lone senior this senior,
Carlota Garcia Arguelles, in a ceremony prior to their match against Kutztown University. The team then went out and swept the Golden Bears 7-0 for their ninth win of the season.
Chestnut Hill is now 9-10 overall while Kutztown falls to 4-7.

Garcia Arguelles won both her matches, taking the #1 doubles with partner
Romi Meirovich, 6-1 over Ava Lewis and Jess Marks. She went on to complete her two-win ay with a 6-0, 6-1 win at #1 singles over Lewis.
Meirovich also won her singles match, defeated Jessica Klo, 6-1, 6-0 at #5 singles.
Alison Isaac and
Nele Haag won their 16
th match as a doubles team this season, defeating Klo and Sarah Lazarchek 6-1 at #2 doubles. The duo is 16-3 in doubles competition in 2022-23. Isaac also won her singles match with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Lazarchek at #2 singles while Haag was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Marks at #3 singles.
Claudia Rasilla and
Annika Wise completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 win over Angela Moncavage and Brianna Wendling at #3 doubles. Rasilla then defeated Wendling 6-0, 6-2 at #4 singles while Wise defeated Moncavage 6-0, 6-1 at #6 singles, completing the 7-0 sweep.
The women's tennis team plays one final home match on April 14, 2023, facing Jefferson University. First serve is at noon.
