The Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball team dropped their fourth straight match Wednesday night, falling at Millersville university 3-1 at Pucillo gym in Millersville, Pennsylvania.

The Griffins fall to 3-8 overall while the Raiders improve to 5-7. 

Millersville won the first set 25-22 before the Griffins battled to win the second set 25-19 to even the match at 1-1.  The Marauders eked out a 25-23 in the third set and pulled away to win the final set 25-21 to clinch the match.

Erika Dubosky again led the Griffins with 19 kills while Rachel Mace added 13.  Dubosky and Mace also recorded double-doubles for the second consecutive match finished the match as Mace notched 21 digs and Dubosky added 15.    Mia Caporellie also recorded her second straight double-double while setting the offense for CHC, recording 42 assists and 14 digs. Chloe Mettille had the only four service aces on the night for the Griffins.

Torrin Kelley led all players with 22 digs on the night.  Maya Hopson added four blocks while Caporellie and Cha'kya Johnson had two apiece.

The Marauders held a slight edge in kills (55-53) and produced twice as many aces (8-4) as the Griffins.  Chestnut Hill held an 83-73 advantage in the digs category.

Emma Kerwin had 17 kills to lead the Marauders while Elisabeth Villegas led Millersville with 22 digs.

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Volleyball team returns to action on Saturday, September 30, 2023, when they host Bloomfield college in a Central Atlantic collegiate Conference crossover match.  Tipoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
