Trailing by ten 46-36 just two minutes into the half, the Griffins embarked on several runs that eventually had the team taking a lead late in the game.  The first of which was an 8-2 spurt that cut the lead to 48-44 with 15:35. Dunn (3 pt. FG) and Lee (2 pt. FG & 3 pt. FG) provided all the scoring for the run.

Imo had four points during this run.  The Purple Knights countered with a 9-3 spurt to go back up by six 62-56 with 9:17 left. Six straight CHC points followed, and the game was again tied, 62-62 with 6:53 remaining.

Bridgeport had an opportunity to tie the game with two free throws with 11 seconds remaining but missed both attempts.  UB did keep possession with an offensive rebound.  The Griffins had fouls to give and slowly whittled down the game clock with out putting the Purple Knights on the free throw line until UB turned the ball over on an inbounds play with two seconds left to seal the 75-73 win for the Griffins.
