Marshall Baker came off the bench to score a career-high 13 points but the Chestnut Hill Men's Basketball team struggled as Felician University defeated the Griffins 88-49 Saturday afternoon at Sorgenti Arena.

The Griffins drop their third conference game of the season to fall to 1-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.  Felician improves to 4-0 in league play (8-7 overall).

Baker connected on five of 12 shots from the field (3-7 3FG) en route to his career high 13 points.  Neal Hill led the team with 14 points while recording his second consecutive double-double with 12 rebounds.  Kamal Lee led the team with four assists and three steals.

Felician quickly jumped out to a 7-0 lead before Lucas Dunn got the Griffins on the board with a three-point field goal at the 15:43 mark.  The Golden Falcons later used a 10-2 run to take a double digit lead at 19-7 with 10:512 left.  Baker's three-ball brought the Griffins within seven 22-15 with 7:26 left but Felician outscored Chestnut Hill 22-5 in the final seven minutes to take a big 43-20 lead at halftime.

Baker and Hill combined for 20 of the Griffins' 29 points in the second half but the Golden Falcons continued to expand their lead as they cruised to 39-point win.

Felician put four players in double figures led by Jaylen Colon's 26 points. 

The Golden Falcons finished the game shooting 51.6% (33-64).  Chestnut Hill (1-13 overall) shot  29.3% (17-58).  Felician also held a 44-35 rebound advantage.

The men's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, for a big CACC south division contest with Holy Family University.  Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
