Eryn Moore rolled three straight 200+ games as the Chestnut Hill College Women's Bowling team continued competition on day two of the Wildcat DII/DIII Invitational at Bowlerama in New Castle, Delaware.
Chestnut Hill won one of four matches and are heading into Sunday's bracket play with a 2-7 record while sitting in ninth place among the 13 teams.
Moore finished the day with a five game average of 195.8 to lead the Griffins and rank 18
th overall among the 79 bowlers competing. on Saturday.Â
Jess Hollabaugh also placed in the top 25, finishing 24
th with an average score of 191.0.
The Griffins lone win came in their fourth game, beating Saint Thomas Aquinas college 947-718. Hollabaugh led the way with a score of 211 while Moore bowled a 202.
Kayleina McGonigal led Chestnut Hill in their opening match, bowling a 213 as the Griffins fell to Emmanuel University 999-905, Hollabaugh and
Abigail Crumb both scored 180 in the match.
Moore bowled a 202 in the Griffins bye round and followed that with her high match of the day, 226 as Chestnut Hill lost to D'Youville University, 949-906. McGonigal bowled 195 in the match.
Chestnut Hill's final match of the day came against host Wilmington University as the Wildcats handed the Griffins a 933-897 loss. Crumb had the highest match of the day for the entire team with a score of 232 in the final contest.
Bracket play at the Wildcat Invitational begins on Sunday with the Griffins having a rematch against D'Youville University in a best-of-seven baker match.
