The Chestnut Hill College Women's Lacrosse team suffered a tough loss Tuesday night, falling to Felician University 13-6 at victory Field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

The Griffins fall to 1-9 overall and 0-6 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference games. The golden Falcons improve to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in league play.
Molly Killion scored twice to lead the Griffins' offensive attack.Â
Anna Sanverdine, Allyson Smith and
Nicole George added man-up goals while
Riley Regan added a man-down goal.Â
Killion also led the team with five ground balls while
Abby Galazka and
Elizabeth Deal added three apiece.
Lauren Sullivan had two caused turnovers and won four draw controls.Â
Virginia Perry had ten saves in goal for the Griffins.

Sanverdine scored the first goal of the game while the Griffins were a man-up, taking a pass from Sullivan while she was open in front of the net to score. The Golden Falcons tied it up before Deal found George open, again with a man-up for Chestnut Hill's second goal just three minutes into the game.
Felician added two goals to take a 3-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and made the score 4-2 three minutes into the second quarter before Smith's free-position man-up goal closed the gap to 4-3.Â
The golden Falcons ran off four unanswered goals to lead 8-3 before Killion scored her first goal of the game at the 9:32 mark of the third quarter.
Killion added a free position goal at the 11:16 mark in the fourth quarter and Regan tallied her man-down goal with 2:28 left in the game to round out the scoring.
Felician's Julie Ravazza scored seven of the Golden Falcon's 13 goals.
The women's lacrosse team is back in action on April 17, 2024 with a road game at Caldwell University.
