Marlon Rose earned his third win of the season, pitching 4.1 innings of relief and allowing two unearned runs.  Jake Schweiker started the game and went 4.2 innings, striking out four and giving up the first three Ram runs.  Colby Seelig pitched the tenth inning and allowed one hit and struck out two.

With the score tied at 5-5 after the Rams scored an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the game into extras, The Griffins sent eight batters to the plate against three Jefferson pitchers.  RJ Huth led off and drew his third walk of the game.    Ram pitcher Jack Ricketts then hit the next two batters to load the bases and was replaced on the mound by Abixiel Sosa who walked John Crane to bring home Huth with the go ahead run.  Geiger then delivered a double to right center field to clear the bases and give the Griffins a 9-5 lead.  Geiger later stole his league leading 20th base in the inning.

Seelig went in to pitch in the bottom of the tenth and after giving up a lead off single, struck out the next two batters and got Gabe Silva to ground out to end the game.

The Griffins broke a 4-4 tie in the ninth inning when Geiger, who led off the inning with a double to left field scored on Fascia's single to centerfield  only to see the Rams tie the game back up with an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth.

Myers' solo home run in the eighth had tied the game at 4-4. He also had a RBI double with the Griffins trailing 3-2 in the sixth, scoring Huth to tie the game at 3-3, and drew a bases-loaded walk in the second to tie the game at 2-2 and scored the Griffins' first run when Geiger reached base safely on an infield throwing error.

Three of Jefferson's five runs were scored via sacrifice flies with the other two off a Marquise Wood two run home run in the bottom of the first, giving the Rams a 2-1 lead at the time.
