The Chestnut Hill College Women's Cross Country team competed at the Jack Saint Clair College Invite on Saturday at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
The team placed eighth overall among the 11 colleges and running clubs competing with a score of 223 points.
Gabby Hassler led the Griffins with a time of 30:33.20 for the 6,000-meter course, placing 21st among the 48 college runners and 41st among the 69 competitors from running clubs and colleges. Soleil Casseus finished right behind Hassler with a time of 30:37.28.
Rounding out the Griffins' five finishers were Aliyyah Gonzalez, Yorehiny Monero and Isabel Schmeltzer. Gonzalez completed the 6K course in 38:48.59 while Moreno finished in 41:33.41. Schmeltzer cross the finish line in 54:58.30.
The women's cross country team returns to action at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championships at Belmont Plateau on October 26, 2025.
