The Chestnut Hill Women's Volleyball team dropped their fifth straight match Saturday afternoon as they fell to Post University 3-1 at the Drubner Center in Waterbury, Connecticut.
The Griffins fall to 4-16 overall and 1-8 in Central Atlantic collegiate conference matches. Post improves to 18-3 overall and 8-0 in league play.
Post won the first two sets 25-14 and 25-23 before the Griffins won the third set 26-24. Post came back to take the fourth set 25-21 to win the match.
Nicole Dimiris led the Griffins with a season-high 16 kills while recording just four errors for a .343 attack percentage. Maya Hopson added 13 kills while also committing just four errors and recorded a .333 attack percentage. Sofia Rodriguez had 37 assists setting up the Griffin offense.
Sarah Allen led all players with seven service aces. Micah McKenzie added three while Hopson two.
Allen also led the team with 18 digs while Alex Crespin added ten. McKenzie and Dimiris had four blocks apiece. Hopson added two.
For the match, the Eagles had 55 kills to the Griffins 41. Chestnut Hill had 12 aces while Post produced nine while the Eagles out dug the Griffins 54-46. Both teams finished with seven team blocks.
The women's volleyball team returns to action on Monday, October 27, 2025 when they host Mercy University. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
