A trio of Chestnut Hill College Women's Soccer players have earned all-conference accolades as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced their 2025 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and major awards on Wednesday.
The three Griffins honored were seniors Lauren Sullivan, Rebecca Dalton and Virginia Perry. The trio were all selected as second team honorees. The teams are voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.
This year's selections also mark the first time since the 2010 season that Chestnut Hill College has had three or more players earn all-conference accolades. The 2010 season featured five Chestnut Hill all-conference honorees.
Sullivan earns her second consecutive all-CACC nod as a second team honoree while Dalton and Perry are first time selections.
Dalton ranks among the top ten players in the CACC in goals (8), goals/game (0.44); points (18), shots per game (3.33) and shots on goal per game (1.61). The senior forward has led the Griffins in scoring for the second season in a row.
Starting in all 18 games, Dalton helped lead the Griffins to a 9-8-1 overall mark and a berth in the CACC semi-finals. She scored twice in the Griffin's game against Holy Family University, including the game winner and had a two-assist game in CHC's big win over Dominican. The senior forward also had the game winner vs. Wilmington, scoring 51 seconds into the contest.
Sullivan recorded two goals and two assists this season from the midfield position, including the game-winning goal against Felician. She ranks seventh among CACC players in shots/game (3.05) while starting all 18 games this season. Sullivan's 55 shots and 23 shots on goal rank third on the team
Perry has been one of the key players in the Griffins' defense this season, as the team has allowed only 17 goals in 18 games and just six in their 11 conference games. The senior athlete has also scored three goals this season, two coming directly off corner kicks in a Chestnut Hill win over Post. She finished the season fourth on the time with nine points and had a team high three assists.
The women's soccer team has qualified for the CACC Tournament in each of the four seasons that Dalton, Sullivan and Perry have played, reaching the conference championship game in 2022.
