Ten Women's Soccer Players Earn CACC all-Academic Team Honors

Ten members of the Chestnut Hill College Women's Soccer team have been named to the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office on Wednesday

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of his/her team's matches or start at least half.
Three of the ten honorees, seniors Maddie Camillo, Rebecca Dalton and Virginia Perry  are three-time all-academic honorees. Juniors  Kylee Bamberger,  Payton Lennon and Ellie Stratz earned all-academic team honors for the second time.  Senior Alyssa DeGeorge, junior Shaina Klos  and sophomores Jenna Gagliardi and Kendall Gayton earn the honor for the first time.

All six of the repeat honorees along with DeGeorge and Klos  earned CACC Academic honor roll accolades in each of the past four semesters (F'23, S'24, F'24, S'25) along with being named  D2 Athletic Director's Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award Winners  for the 2024-25 season. Camillo, Dalton, and Perry also earned D2ADA Academic Achievement Award accolades in 2023-24.

Dalton and Perry are also the first tow women's soccer players in program history to earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team honors three times.  DeGeorge, Klos and Lennon earned CSC Academic All-District team accolades for the first time in fall of 2025.

Camillo, a health science major who appeared in 13 games this season,  is a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree (2023, 2024). In addition to her D2ADA and Academic honor roll accolades, Camillo has been named to the CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll in every semester at Chestnut Hill and has earned Dean's List honors five times.

Dalton, a criminal justice major, played and started in all 18 games this season.  She is one of two women's soccer players In addition to the above honors, she was named to the Dean's List six times and was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national college athlete honor society in spring of 2025.

Perry is also a Criminal Justice major and played and started in all 18 games this season.   In addition to the above honors, she has earned Dean's List honors in every semester at Chestnut Hill and was  also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma in spring of 2025.

DeGeorge is an early education major and played and started in all 18 games this season.  In addition to the above accolades, DeGeorge has earned Dean's List honors three times and was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma in spring of 2025.

Bamberger, one of three health science majors from Chestnut Hill to be named to this year's all-academic team earned Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic Honor roll accolades in each of her last four semesters.

Lennon, a health science major, has also played in all 18 games this season.  She has also earned Dean's List honors in every semester while at Chestnut Hill, in addition to the above accolades mentioned.

Stratz, an accounting major, was one of five  CHC women's soccer players to earn CSC Academic all-district honors in 2024.  She has also earned Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic honor roll accolades in every semester at Chestnut Hill.  She appeared in 15 games this season, starting ten.

Klos, athletically a redshirt sophomore, is a marketing major and has been named to the Dean's List in each of her first five semesters. She's played in all 18 games this season.

Gagliardi and Gayton are both exercise science majors.  The two have earned Dean's List, CACC Academic Honor Roll and CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll accolades in each of their first three semesters at Chestnut Hill

Since joining the CACC for the 2007-08 season, 55 Griffin women's soccer players have been named to the CACC Women's Soccer Academic Honor Rolls a total of 110 times. A total of 20 women's soccer players in program history have earned conference all-academic honors three times, including the trio this year. An additional 15 players have earned CACC all-Academic status twice during their careers.
