Women's Bowling Begins Competition at Golden Bear Invite

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Bowling team began competition on Saturday at the at the Golden Bear Invitational  hosted by Kutztown University and played at Berks Lanes in
Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania.

The Griffins lost all five of their traditional format matches on Saturday.

Chestnut Hill began the day with a match against Molloy University, falling to the Lions 801-684.  Cora Olsen had the high game for the Griffins, bowling a score of 146 while Victoria Forbes added a score of 144.

Forbes led the way in match #2 as the Griffins fell to Alvernia University 801-715, rolling a score of 171.  Olsen followed with a score of 166 while Taylor Graham scored 142.

Olsen again led the way in the third match as the Griffins fell to Adelphi University 856-660

Dominican University took charge in the  forth match, beating the griffins 1,013 to 740. Olson rolled the Griffins high match of the day with a score of 190 while Graham had a score of 144.

In their final match of the day, the Griffins fell to host Kutztown University 826-696.  Olson and Forbes recorded scores of 164 and 147 respectively while Lexi Horton followed with a score of 167.

The women's bowling team returns to action on Sunday when they conclude their competition at the Golden Bear Invite with three baker format matches.
