Men's Lacrosse Falls to Nationally Ranked Seton Hill

The Chestnut Hill College Men's Lacrosse team dropped their first game of the season Saturday afternoon as they struggled on both ends of the field, losing to nationally ranked Seton Hill University 15-1 Saturday afternoon at victory Field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

Chestnut Hill falls to 1-1 with the loss.  Seton Hill, ranked #11 in the most recent USILA division II poll improves to 2-0.

Chestnut Hill's lone goal came in the fourth quarter on an unassisted tally from Noah Hammon with 5:04 left in the game.

Adam Daley made 16 saves in net as Seton Hill put 31 shots on goal in the contest.  Thomas Gallagher led the team with three ground balls while Daniel Myers had two caused turnovers.

Seton Hill scored four times in the first quarter and held a 4-0 lead at halftime.  The visitors exploded for eight third quarter goals to take command of the contest and added three more in the final period to round out their scoring.  Carter Green (3 goals, 2 assists) and Braeden Lockyer (three goals, two assists) led SHU with five points apiece. Wade Brunelle also had three goals.

 The men's lacrosse team returns to action on Saturday, March 8, 2025, when they host Pace University at Victory Field.
