Box Score The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team got back on the winning track Saturday afternoon with a homecourt 7-0 win over Thomas College at the CHC Tennis Courts.
The Griffins improve to 2-7 with the win.
Chestnut Hill opened the match by sweeping all three doubles contests to take a 1-0 lead. Menno Raeymaekers and Arnaud Vangenechten started things off with a 6-0 win over Nick Mangiera and Calvin Cutler at #3 doubles. Siddharth Malik and Alessio Lefevre followed with a 6-0 win over Dominic Clifford and Camden Herrick at #2 doubles and Ewan Brown and Enzo Puppi completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 win over Gabe McPhail and Seb Soto.
Malik gave the Griffins a 2-0 lead recorded a double bagel win, 6-0, 6-0 over Magiera at #6 singles. Lefevre defeated Soto 6-0, 6-1 at #2 singles and Brown defeated Herrick 6-0, 6-1 at #3 singles to clinch the match for the Griffins with a 4-0 lead. Vangenechten also recorded a double bagel victory 6-0, 6-0 over Cutler at #5 singles while Puppi was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at #4 singles over Clifford. Pablo Cervera completed the sweep with as 6-1, 6-1 win over McPhail at #1 singles.
The men's tennis team returns to action on March 26, 2025, when they travel to play Jefferson University in the first of three matches against their conference rival. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
