Senators Hand Griffins a 6-1 Loss.

The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team concluded their two-day West Virginia swing on Sunday, falling to Davis and Elkins College 6-1 in Buckhannon, West Virginia.

The Griffins fall to 3-11 overall while the Senators improve to 7-6.

The Senators opened the competition with a sweep of all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead.

In singles play, Filippo Relecom lost at #1 singles, 6-2, 6-0 to Viktor Yanev as the Senators took a 2-0 lead in the match. Davis and Elkins went on to win at #3 , #4 and #5 singles to clinch the match before the Griffins got on the board.

Alessio Lefevre recorded Chestnut Hill's only point of the day with a 6-1, 7-6 win over Duarte Correia at #2 singles, making the score 5-1 at the time. The Senators scored the final point with a win at #6 singles.

 The men's tennis team returns to action on Monday, April 14, 2025, when the host Jefferson University at the CHC Tennis Courts.  First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
