Kate Hanley and Sadie Bayko combined for 27 kills, but the Chestnut Hill College Women's volleyball team dropped their second straight match, losing to Queens College 3-1 Thursday night at Fitzgerald Gymnasium in Queens, New York.

The Griffins fall to 1-2 while the Knights improve to 3-3.

Hanley produced 14 kills in 30 attack attempts to lead the Griffins while Bayko had 13 kills in 36 attempts. Kass Kimmel added six kills.  Sofia Rodriguez set the offense for the Griffins recording 29 assists.  Alex Crespin added six.

Crespin also led the team with three service aces.  Sarah Allen and Nicole Dimiris had two aces apiece.  Chestnut Hill also struggled again with their serving game, committing 15 serving errors in the contest.

On the defensive side, Kimmel and Crespin led the team with 12 digs apiece. Rachel Mace and Rodriguez recorded nine and eight digs respectively.  Dimiris had four blocks while Bayko added two.

The Griffins return to action and open conference play on September 17, 2025, when they travel to face area rival Jefferson University.  First serve is at 6:00 p.m.
