A trio of Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis players have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's Tennis Academic All District® team in an announcement made by the organization and the CSC Academic All-America® committee.

Earning CSC Academic All District® honors for the second time is graduate student Noah Cutting.  First time honorees include sophomores Ewan Brown and Enzo Puppi.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible for Academic All-District® accolades, student-athletes must be at least at sophomore athletically and academically, appear in 70 percent of their team's matches that produce a team score and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Graduate students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in both their undergraduate and graduate programs. This is only the third season that the CSC has named men's tennis academic all-district and all-America teams separate from the at-large program.

Academic All-District® honorees are reviewed by a group of Academic All-America® committee members for consideration for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® national ballot, where first, second and third team Academic All-America® honorees are chosen by the CSC Division II membership and the Academic All-America® core committee.  Cutting was advanced to the national ballot.

Cutting is pursuing his master's degree in educational studies after having graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a degree in business administration and management in 2024.  He turned a solid performance this season producing a 23-10  overall record with a 14-1 mark in singles play.  He was perfect in conference singles matches this season (6-0) and perfect in all dual match singles play (13-0).  He recorded his 100th career win earlier this year and finished his career with a 106-48 mark and the second highest winning percentage in program history (.688).

A three-time All-conference honoree during his undergraduate years as a Griffins, Cutting has earned Pennsylvania State athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors three times this year while the all-conference team for the PSAC has yet to be released.  He has also earned a plethora of academic accolades.  Cutting is a three-time ITA Scholar Athlete, a two-time CACC All-Academic team and D2ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree and is a member of two honor societies, Chi Alpha Sigma, the national college athlete honor society and Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society, being inducted into both in 2023.

Brown and Puppi are in their second season of competition for the Griffins.  The duo have earned CACC in both the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters and earned CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll status in each of their first three semesters.

Puppi also was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for 2024-25 and earned Dean's List honors in each of his first three semesters.  On the court, Puppi produced a 9-4 singles mark, including a 5-1 mark in PSAC singles matches along with three doubles wins.

Brown was 8-3 in conference matches this year, including a 4-1 mark in singles and 4-2 in doubles.  He  has earned  Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll accolades twice.

The men's tennis team finished the 2025-26 season with a 7-8 overall record and reached the PSAC Tournament semi-finals.
