The Chestnut Hill College Men's Cross Country team competed in their second meet of the 2026 season as four Griffins toed the starting line for the Philadelphia Cross Classic on Saturday at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
Jasper Faustino led Chestnut Hill, placing 16th overall with a time of 30:49.3 for the 8,000-meter course. Ryan O'Hara followed, placing 21st with a time of 32:25.5
Rounding out the Griffins runners were Logan Cavanaugh and Jeremiah Smith. The two runners were making the Chestnut Hill cross country debut. Cavanaugh finished with a time of 45:06.5 while Smith crossed the finish line in 48:52.9
Wilmington University took home the team title with 32 points. Chestnut Hill did not have a team score
The men's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, September 19, 2026 when they compete at the Osprey Open in Galloway, New Jersey. Richard Stockton University is the host of the meet. The men's race starts at 10:15 a.m.
