First Place at Jack St. Clair Ensures Fisher Fourth Straight CACC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Award

New Haven, Conn. - (10/15/2019) – Zigmund Fisher (Chadds Ford, Pa.) made it a full month as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as the Chestnut Hill College senior earned his fourth straight honor with last weekend’s first place run (1st, 27:09.2) at the Jack St. Clair Memorial Meet.

Fisher continued a historic senior season with a first place finish at the Jack St. Clair Memorial Meet; he paced the field by more than 13 seconds (13.6) for his third individual championship of the season. With the support of his classmates, Jake DiCello (Pottsville, Pa.) and Aaron Morris (Philadelphia, Pa.), Chestnut Hill College placed 7th in the field of 18 with 216 points (7th of 18, 216 points). DiCello and Morris joined Fisher among the top-50 finishers of the men’s 8K, respectively placing 44th (30:52.5) and 48th (31:01.8). Freshman Chris Johnson (Wildwood Crest, N.J.) was not far behind, running 52nd with his time of 31:16.2. Senior Jonathan Boc (Jersey City, N.J.) came in 108th (34:15.6) and freshman Terrance Cunnane (Glenside, Pa.) followed in 144th (40:44.4).
