Chestnut Hill College Athletics

West Babylon, N.Y. -- Chestnut Hill College freshman Madeline Gannon (Glenolden, Pa.) earned weekly honors from the East Coast Conference for her performance at Virginia Union University Invitational. She helped the Griffins post a 10-2 record for third place out of 11 teams in the tournament to take spots on the conference's honor roll.

Gannon, who was named the conference's rookie of the week in mid-October for her contributions to the Griffins in their season-opening tournament at the Bud Whitman Memorial Baker, made an impact throughout the weekend, including filling all 10 frames to kick off the Virginia Union University Invitational with a win over Howard University.
