Kehoe Concludes Year With Recognition on CACC April Honor Roll
New Haven, Conn. - (5/7/2018) – Led by a round of 80 (+8) by freshman Jake Kehoe (Powell, Ohio), Chestnut Hill College placed eighth (8th of 13, 339, +51) in the 7th annual Jefferson Classic. For his effort, Kehoe was recognized on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf April Honor Roll.
Kehoe birdied the first hole and anchored his performance at the ACE Club with a 38 (+2) on the front nine. His effort was best supported by an 83 (+11) from sophomore Taylor Mezzatesta (Forest Hill, Md.). Fellow freshmen, Jack LaRosa (Bristol, Pa.) and Tyler Marchese (Dunmore, Pa.) offered Chestnut Hill College other scoring efforts with their respective rounds of 87 (+15) and 89 (+17). Sophomore Shawn Mayer (Brick, N.J.) also competed in the event, he finished the course in 91 (+19) strokes. Felician University sophomore Jake Storako (Laurel Springs, N.J.) paced the field and led the Golden Falcons (317, +29) to the team title with his one-over par (72, +1).
