New Haven, Conn. - (4/29/2019) –
Once again, Chestnut Hill College placed two players on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Report as sophomore attack Carson Rees (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia) and freshman goalkeeper Austin Jones (Courtice, Ontario) respectively garnered the league’s Player, Rookie, and Goalkeeper of the Week awards.   Rees totaled 13 points with 12 goals and one assist during the Griffins’ 2-0 week versus top dog Georgian Court University (16-13) and Post University (23-5), meanwhile Jones offered his second 20-plus save performance, matching his career-high with 21 saves against the Lions.

Chestnut Hill College captured a valuable Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory with today's 16-13 triumph at Georgian Court University as it ensures the Griffins' the 2019 CACC Men's Lacrosse Regular Season Title.
