Caldwell, NJ – (11/8/2011) – As the #4 seed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division, Chestnut Hill College crossed over to face the North Division #1, Caldwell College in this evening's Opening Round match. Caldwell College (24-4) was driven by junior outside hitter Susan McDonough (Saline, MI) who outperformed all participants with 16 kills, 13 digs, and three blocks. Her .609 (16K-2E-23TA) hitting percentage led a .376 (41K-9E-85TA) Cougar effort and led the home team to set wins of 25-20, 25-16, and 25-8, respectively. Senior setter Lauren Roth (Findlay, OH) offered 38 assists.
Chestnut Hill College (13-19) hit .226 (12K-5E-31TA) in the opening set and three Griffins finished with at least five kills off Chukuntarod's feed. Junior middle hitter
