Philadelphia, Pa. – (9/28/2013) – For the second straight day and third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest Chestnut Hill College claimed a victory with a 9-0 final, today dismissing Caldwell College in a little more than an hour and half. The Griffins swept doubles with wins of 8-4, 8-0, and 8-1, before taking each singles flight in straight sets.

Hayley Craskey (Aston, Pa.) were next to secure a win, taking the third team flight 8-1. At number one doubles, junior

Marie Deleval (Grimaud, France) won the round final point with an 8-4 final.
In singles play, Dawson and Deleval led off the Griffin lineup with straight set wins of 6-0, 6-0, and 6-1, 6-1, respectively. Oechsle won number three singles 6-3, 6-0. Sophomore
Axe Owens (Trenton, N.J.) took the fourth individual flight 6-1, 6-0. Craskey claimed number five singles without surrendering a point 6-0, 6-0. Senior
Olivia Stevenson (Philadelphia, N.Y.) completed the shutout, winning number six singles by the same score.
The women's tennis team breaks from their CACC schedule tomorrow, Sunday, September 29, to travel to the New York Institute of Technology for an 11:00 a.m. match.
